Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia (HFHE) is a branch of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI). HEHE is currently operating under Africa Habitat for Humanity International. Since it started operation in 1993, Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia has supported 170,000 families (850,000 people). HFHE initially began with constructing mortgage houses for families affected by poverty and other vulnerabilities and has been expanding the work to integrate vulnerable group housing, urban slum upgrading, urban resilience building, water sanitation and hygiene.

Senior Fundraising Specialist

The Senior Fund Raising Specialist supports all aspects of the fundraising including prospecting and acquiring potential donors and philanthropies locally as well as internationally through supporting fundraiser GFOI, Resource Development (RD) and GFN countries that includes multiple income streams – such as foundations, governments, corporate, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), etc. and facilitate existing relationships.

Project Officer

The Project Officer will serve as the focal person for Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia (HFHE) in Dire Dawa and will be responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of the Dire Dawa Housing, Hygiene, Sanitation, and Energy Project. This includes supporting project activities related to housing, hygiene, sanitation, and energy interventions.
