One-Off/Episodic Volunteers- Help out at a single event, such as ushering at our National Housing Symposium.
General Skilled Volunteers- Use your expertise to contribute to hands-on projects, no formal certifications required.
Advisory Board/Strategic Leadership Volunteers- Advocate for policy change and support affordable housing initiatives.
Professional Volunteers- Share your licensed skills (e.g., architecture, engineering, law) to make a lasting impact.
E-Volunteers/Remote Volunteers- Support us from anywhere by reviewing reports, managing social media, or leading online campaigns.
Community Volunteers- Help select partner families and engage in community-driven projects.
Student Intern Volunteers- Gain hands-on experience by contributing as part of your university coursework.
What We Provide
- Mentorship to learn from our staff and reverse-mentorship to provide your ideas to project designs.
- Recognition and acknowledgment for your contributions and impact.
- Mentorship from HFHE staff and reverse mentorship where you can share your ideas and provide input during project design
- On-placement training opportunities and support from HFHE staff
- Coverage of costs associated with your volunteering experience, including transportation and meal when you travel. Please note that this is not payment in return to your voluntary service rather to ensure no out-of-pocket expenses during volunteering.
